The company is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. The Procurement Manager will be an integral member of the Manufacturing team, responsible for sourcing raw materials, managing shipping/receiving, maintaining inventory, and developing internal manufacturing work flow procedures and documentation. This role will help to optimize business processes and support scaling up our manufacturing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Business Operations: Support efforts related to manufacturing, logistics, and facilities management. Help implement best practices and processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Process Development: Develop inventory tracking systems, and improve company work-flow.
- Risk Management: Identify operational risks, including regulatory and manufacturing risks. Develop and implement risk management strategies and contingency plans to safeguard business continuity and resilience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing-related role, with a focus on operations management, preferably in the advanced manufacturing sector.
- Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills.
- Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance practices.
- Demonstrated ability to support continuous improvement initiatives.
