Power to Hydrogen is seeking a Chemical Systems Engineer to support the development of advanced technologies for energy storage applications. Power to Hydrogen is focused on development of reversible fuel cell systems and electrolysis systems. We have a need for an experienced chemical systems engineer. The position will be full-time with competitive salary and benefits (IRA/health-care HSA/paid time off)
Responsibilities
- Support design of hydrogen generation and energy storage systems
- Generation of process flow diagrams
- Specification of system components
- System modelling
- Contribute to design failure mode and effect analysis
- Interface with software and electrical engineers
- Assembly of prototype systems
- Support testing of prototype and pilot systems
- 50% design work, 50% hands on building and testing
Qualifications
- At least a B.S. in chemical engineering or related field with >4 years of experience
- Experience with system design and related software
- Ability to communicate across engineering disciplines
